Carborundum sez: "PILLOW FIGHT!"

I had no idea Al Gore was visiting. Good thing I still have my snow shovel from when I lived on the East Coast.

Sigh. The next well-meaning global-warming-spewing crunchy granola type that tries to make me see the error of my carbon-spewing ways is going to get an earful. (BTW, that little thing like a doghouse? That's where my oil tank lives. Pthhhbbbbt!)

We went in to a sneak preview of Golden Compass at 7pm (sorry, kiddo - the Hubster pulled a good surprise on me!), and at that point it looked like the snow was stopping. Sure enough, we left the movie, and grabbed dinner, then headed down the road from Bellevue to Issaquah. Pretty much wet the whole way. Got into Issaquah and found a little snow, and as we drove the remaining 7 miles to our house, we saw more and more snow. At our house we had about 3-4 inches on the driveway. I managed to slide down the hill without quite hitting the rock wall on the left, and stopped before the rock wall in front ...barely.

*whew*

Grabbed some pics of the snow on the back deck ... post 'em tomorrow ;-) I'm heading to bed now.
